Brow Styling – Judging Criteria

🔹 1. Design & Symmetry

• Brow shape complements the client’s facial structure

• Balance between both brows (length, thickness, arch height)

• Natural yet well-defined brow structure

🔹 2. Technique & Execution

• Precise execution of the selected technique (e.g., tint application, waxing, threading, PMU)

• Clean edges and professional shaping

• No over-plucking, over-tinting, or skin irritation

🔹 3. Color Selection

• Shade matches the client’s skin tone and hair color

• Even tinting with no patchiness or over-darkened areas

• Smooth blend from head to tail of the brow

​

🔹 4. Texture & Finish (Lamination / Styling)

• Natural-looking hair direction

• Brows are set in a clean, upward or styled position (lamination)

• Hairs are separated and not clumped or overly shiny

🔹 5. Overall Appearance

• Brows enhance the natural beauty of the client

• Symmetrical, well-balanced, and flattering finish

• The final result is polished, clean, and professionally styled

🔹 6. Skin Condition & Cleanliness

• No redness, cuts, or irritation

• Clean working area around the brows

• No residue from products left on the skin

🔹 7. Photo Quality (Online Entries)

• Clear, well-lit photos showing before and after results

• Proper angles: front view, side view, and close-up

• No use of filters, blurring, or digital enhancement

• Submissions must clearly match the chosen category (e.g., PMU, shaping, lamination).

• Overdone or artificial-looking results may lower the score.

• All work must be original and completed solely by the participant.

• AI-generated, plagiarized, or  edited images will not be accepted.

• All work must be the original, unassisted effort of the participant.
